epic45 return, as work commences on a new album along with a series of one-off live dates and tours of the UK and Europe. 2017 also marks the 10th anniversary of their highly acclaimed 'May Your Heart Be The Map' album, which will see a special edition vinyl reissue via the bands own 'Wayside and Woodland Recordings' label this spring. 'May Your Heart Be The Map' was voted one of Word Magazine's 'Albums of the Decade' in 2010. Tracks from the album have had over 12 million Spotify streams worldwide.

It comes as no surprise to find that epic45's Ben Holton and Rob Glover grew up in a small rural village in the English Midlands. Since their debut 7" single in 1999 (which received immediate suport from John Peel on Radio 1) they have released a series of widely celebrated EPs and albums, inspired by their surroundings and the ever-changing English landscape. The duo have been making music for more than 20 years and have toured extensively in Europe and Japan. They have collaborated with artists such as Simon Scott (Slowdive), Stephen Jones (Babybird) and Bibio (Warp Records).

If you’re looking for musical references, you might be able to hear the ghosts of Sarah Records, Disco Inferno, Slowdive and New Order in epic45’s ever evolving sound.

Live shows in 2017 will feature material from epic45's extensive back catalogue and their 'May Your Heart Be The Map' album, as well the opportunity to hear new material for the first time.
